About me

I am a first-year PhD student in Biological and Environmental Sciences, focusing on improving water monitoring using a novel radar drone. Beyond water monitoring, my research also explores the drone¡¯s potential in applications such as soil moisture estimation, peatland health, biomass measurements, crop detection, and wildlife monitoring.

Prior to starting my PhD, I completed a BSc in Environmental Geography and an MSc in Earth Observation and Geoinformation Management. Throughout my studies, I focused on satellite remote sensing, with a particular emphasis on radar technologies. I have developed expertise in working with various satellite radar platforms, including Sentinel-1, CryoSat-2, and SWOT.

I am now applying my remote sensing skills to platforms closer to the ground exploring new opportunities in environmental monitoring.

Outside of my research, I enjoy playing tennis, hill-walking, and drone flying (all weather permitting)!
