About me

Since 2011, I have provided commentaries in the media about societal attitudes and individual experiences to well-being. The outlets included amongst others, The Psychologist, Guardian Supplement, The Herald, New Scientist, Â鶹´«Ã½AV Minds, and Health Awareness . My paper was featured as one of the cover stories in the herald and Health Awareness.

Exhibiting Everything that is and has been in collaboration with Â鶹´«Ã½AV University and Museums Galleries Scotland, September 2015 and June 2016 at the Pathfoot Exhibition Hall, Â鶹´«Ã½AV, UK.

Currently, I work as a Lecturer and INTO Teacher at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV. I am working on research which forms my PhD, by using creative tools to understand communication in emerging adults with long-term chronic pain conditions. The research focuses on patients aged 18-30, who have experienced Chronic Pain for upwards of a 1 year period.

I also have completed research in using qualitative visual methods to understand and challenge negative social attitudes to disability and/or mental health service users. Employing a mixed methodological approach, of critical discussion and using art as a tool to be transformatory.
